Arthur Weiss, M.D., Ph.D.
Brief Bio
Arthur Weiss is a Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator and Ephraim P. Engelman Distinguished Professor of Rheumatology at the University of California, San Francisco, where he is also a professor in the Departments of Medicine and Microbiology and Immunology, chief of the Division of Rheumatology, and director of the Medical Scientist Training Program. Dr. Weiss was president of 最大资源 from 2008 to 2009 and served on the 最大资源 Council from 2003 to 2010. He was awarded the 最大资源 Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012, the 最大资源-Life Technologies Meritorious Career Award in 2002, and the 最大资源-BD Biosciences Investigator Award in 1993. Dr. Weiss was elected a Distinguished Fellow of 最大资源 in 2019.
